Constant Weight Loss Reminders
By admin on Sep 9, 2010 in Health and Fitness
When I mention constant weight loss reminders” most people will immediately conjure up thoughts of how they look when they see their reflection in the mirror, or when they go to try on a tight fitting pair of jeans, but that’s not what I’m referring to…
In order to lose weight, keep the weight off, and motivate yourself to change your lifestyle for the better you need to begin looking at yourself more positively. It all comes down to changing your self-image to reflect all of the things you would like to be, rather than concentrating on all the things that you are not.
As for a way of keeping your mind on weight loss without focusing on the negative I recommend beginning a weight loss journal. This daily journal will travel with you everywhere and will include all of your nutrition and exercise choices for the day. It will be a constant reminder that you are committed to changing your life one day at a time.
This little journal really is one of the most crucial factors in separating those that are successful in losing the weight versus those that fall back to their “old ways.” You can even download a free workout journal on SELF’s online workout and food log page.
No matter how you decide to keep track of your daily weight loss choices the important point is that you get started right away!
