Getting the Most Out of Your Exercise Journal

In my last post I spoke about how the act of writing down your goals will enable you to better keep them at the forefront of your mind, and therefore, keeping you on track to better achieve your goals.
In addition to writing your goals down and reviewing them daily, I highly recommend keeping track of how you will achieve those goals. Most of my clients find that carrying a small spiral notebook or photocopy of their nutritional choices with them in order to write down each meal or snack is helpful. I also recommend the same system for tracking your workouts.
Each workout should be tracked and all your stats should be written down so that you can continue to push yourself to make new progress each week. This is one of the best ways to maximize your workouts and reshape your body.
