How Long Should Your Workouts Be?

how long should your workouts be thumb 248x250 69261 How Long Should Your Workouts Be?I think the question of how long should your workouts be needs to be broken down even further…

If we’re talking about your strength based resistance workouts, I would aim for about 30 minutes of intense training (taking breaks after every few exercises to recover between sets).

Now if we’re discussing traditional cardiovascular work, I would suggest aiming for 30-60 minutes of light aerobic exercise (even walking).

Lastly, when it comes time to improving both speed, strength, and fat burning potential I recommend 10-20 minutes of high intensity sprinting. This involves 10-60 seconds of all out work with at least double that time in recovery before completing your next sprint.

By using and combining these 3 types of exercise with the proper nutritional plan you will be well on your way to achieving all your weight loss, fitness, and health goals!
