Kettlebell Fat Burning Interval Workout
By admin on Oct 15, 2010 in Health and Fitness
After explaining how to do kettlebell swings in my last post I wanted to share with you an interval workout that you can use that exercise in.
This fat burning interval can be done on its own for a fast fat burning workout, or you can complete it after one of your resistance based workouts for a little extra boost.
It’s set up as a Tabata style interval so it should be easy for you to remember when you go to complete it.
Here’s how it looks:
1. Complete a 5 minute warm-up (or do this interval after your workout)
2. After your warm-up rest for 60 seconds and then go right into 20 seconds of kettlebell swings followed by 10 seconds of rest before repeating the next round.
3. Complete 8 total 20 second kettlebell swing rounds (with 10 seconds of rest after each)
This is a very powerful interval workout that is pretty straight forward to complete and since it only takes 1 kettlebell and 4 total minutes to get through you can do it anytime you’re looking to give your metabolism a little charge!
