The end of bad leftovers
By admin on Oct 20, 2010 in Health and Fitness
Am I the only one who buys a whole bunch of parsley for a recipe that calls for 2 tablespoons, with every intention of putting the remainder to delicious use? Or slices a half of a cucumber in her salad, forgets about the other half, and finds a slimy lump at the bottom of the “crisper” a week later? Or buys a cute tote bag of apples, but doesn’t manage to get through them before they turn into applesauce? Ah, such good intentions!
Tired of wasting food (and money) after buying more perishable fruits and veggies than I needed for imminent meals, I finally developed a system.
