Write Down Your Goals to Increase Their Power
By admin on Sep 14, 2010 in Health and Fitness
We’ve all heard about how important goal setting is, but it’s amazing how few people do it correctly.
Yes, there is an actual right and wrong way to set your goals.
In order for you to increase the likelihood that you will achieve your goals you must do these 3 things.
1. Write down your goals in detail on an index card that you can view throughout the day. Focus on no more than 1-3 at a time.
2. Review your goals right when you wake up in the morning and directly before going to bed (this will keep them at the forefront of your mind and will enable you to make more focused decisions pertaining to reaching those goals).
3. Set a date to accomplish those goals (if no date is set then your mind has no reason to convince you that there is a sense of urgency of why you must act now).
Of course, there are many other things you can do like using visualization and affirmations, but all other aspects come back to having a detailed goal with an end date set that you focus your attention on daily. I hope you try this technique out with your current body transformation goals and I think you’ll find that you’ll be more successful this time around.
