It’s summer time and the cookin’s easy. If you live near a farmers’ market or stand you know things are in full swing right now. Stands are teaming with summer squash, tomatoes, green and wax beans, okra, peaches, chilies, berries and more. Summer produce is best left to shine on its own, so eat it raw or simply prepared with olive oil, salt and pepper. Check out some of my finds from last Wednesday’s Union Square Greenmarket.
