The American Dream is the commonly held ideology that in the United States, one can become prosperous with hard work and a strong will and determination. The concept of American Dream was said to have started with the early wave of Europeans who settled in America in search of a better life. From generation to generation, the idea of the American Dream passed on.
The 1931 book “The Epics of the American’ by James Truslow Adams is where the term “American Dream” first appeared. It was said to have originated from the concept of change away from the old models of government and economy. Additionally, the American Dream originated during the time when many of America’s land resources were yet unclaimed, offering the promise of ownership of land to many immigrants. This opportunity, along with the Industrial Revolution, created many possibilities of prosperity. Hence, there were many rags-to-riches stories that further strengthened the American Dream.

Doesn’t it seem as though you have to trade fashion for function sometimes? A perfect example is in the bedroom on the window. We either purchase black out curtains or blinds which allow us to sleep for as long as we want, when we want. The alternative is attractive window coverings which may or may not afford the same light blockage. Wouldn’t it be a perfect world if we could find curtains that blocked the light while looking aesthetically appealing?
The world just may be more ideal than any of us realized. I went shopping for window coverings for our new home recently and was delighted to find black out curtains that not only did the job they claimed to do but also looked great. They were also available in so many different sizes that I ended up buying a set for the master bedroom as well as the children’s rooms.

One part of your body that probably takes a bigger beating than anything else might be your back. I know that I have aches and pains there that I can’t always explain and it can make my uncomfortable no matter what I am doing. Sitting and sleeping are generally the times when back pain becomes more pronounced and it may slip up into your shoulders and neck when you least expect it. Because I have this problem, my husband went out and got me a back massager.
Though I can’t that a back massager is as good as a masseuse, I have to say that I love it. When I have to spend a lot of time at my computer I can have aches and pains that just won’t go away, but that doesn’t mean I can stop working. You don’t make money lying down on the bed every time you have a pain. I can just take a few minutes and use the back massager to get some temporary relief. It’s not perfect but it does help more than I thought it would at first.

Lead crystal also called crystal, is a lead glass which has been machine or hand cut with features. Lead oxide is added to the molten glass which gives the lead crystal a much higher index of refraction and is valued for its brilliance and clarity than normal glass. However, much concern has been given to dish wares made of lead crystal, because of the health threat that it poses. The risk of lead release to food with lead crystal wares has been given much study and the public has been cautioned with the dangers of lead exposure through these crystals.
Studies have shown that the quantity of lead in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages when consumed from a lead crystal glass during a meal is about 0.2 parts per million, which is the maximum lead concentration allowed in food and beverages in Canada. However, up to 20 parts per million, which is one hundred times higher than the Canadian limit, have been found in wines kept for weeks in lead crystal bottles. The risk of lead release is lower if the lead crystal ware is only used for a short period of time such as the course of a meal.

Dreams have their own stories to share. They tell something of what a dreamer is feeling, or thinking, be the dreamer aware of his/her sentiments or not, towards a particular situation in the “waking world” or an overall memory defining the dreamer’s path in life.
All in all, they say something of what the dreamer is truly thinking within his/her subconscious mind.

The Merkaba meditation technique is a very powerful meditation tool for transition, healing, manifestation, and ascension. It utilizes an understanding of Divine Love and Sacred Geometry. This meditation technique reactivates the fields of energy around the body that gives beginning to your personal Merkaba (time and dimensional vehicle). The merkaba is activated through an ancient way of breathing and meditation, through love and mudras (hand positions) that restart and spin the geometric energy fields surrounding the body.
To prepare for merkaba meditation, create a place in your home that you can perform the meditation, it should be a place where you can’t be disturbed and distracted. Lighting a candle and using a cushion or pillow to sit on may be helpful to make you feel relaxed and focused. Then let go of all your worries and just feel complete love for everything around you and become one with love.

So why meditate? As meditation promises, it brings one a sense of deep fulfillment. A person totally committed to it, regardless of the meditation technique, experiences total bliss. In contrast to other methods which promise the same thing, what we acquire from meditation is not only a fleeting feeling. While some people needing to clear their minds and their bodies from too much stress find solace in the meditation technique, others turn to some other solutions like drugs. Promising a higher than high feeling to the users, drugs result in an individual’s self-mutilation and destruction. The sense of exhilaration the users get are not even lasting, but a short-lived one. Any meditation technique is a promise of an adventure to discovering one’s true self. It is natural, healthy, and absolutely free.
There are plenty of techniques that you can do to get better meditation results. Several online sites provide several techniques and their procedures. One example is the Hong Sau meditation technique. Hong Sau is an easy meditation technique that claims to let you connect with your inner abilities of great vitality, and love, among others. Furthermore this particular meditation technique is said to also let you connect with God.

Interpretations of dreams have long been practiced since early times by the ancient Greeks and Egyptians who believed that dreams contained messages from supernatural or divine forces, the meanings of which can only be unfolded by people with special powers Today, however, the interpretations of dreams is offered by those who study dream analysis and/or psychology and the different dream theories.
Two of the major works on the interpretations of dreams were the 2nd century Greek book “Oneirocritica” by Artemidorus, the first written on the subject, and Sigmund Freud’s “The Interpretation of Dreams”.
